Selected teachers or staff receive a $500 Visa gift card to use in support of their school.

Great work to Har-Ber Art Teacher Betsy Kryeziu for presenting nationally and serving as the state delegate for the Arkansas chapter at the annual National Art Association Conference held in San Antonio, Texas April 13-15th.
Mrs. K presented on the 1,000 cranes project produced at Har-Ber.
"Learn how 25 high school students of diverse abilities and backgrounds applied the story of Sadako's 1,000 cranes as part of a school-wide collaboration around the theme of transformation. Attendees will better understand how transformation as an interdisciplinary art theme can play a role in students' personal healing.

Don Tyson School of Innovation Theatre Program presents "Macbeth."
In a post-apocalyptic world, Macbeth is tempted by a prophecy and encouraged
by his wife ever deeper into his own dark ambition, as he murders his way to the throne. Join us for Macbeth’s journey from hero to tyrant, and follow his obsession with power and guilt after doing the unthinkable in Shakespeare’s chilling tragedy.
Macbeth runs April 20, 21, & 22, 2023 at the Pat Ellison Performing Arts Center, 2667 Hylton Road in Springdale. Show time is 6:30pm for all three dates. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for Springdale schools’ students and staff.
Tickets will be sold at the box office each night, cash or check payments are accepted.
Helen Tyson Middle School hosted a sensory toys sew-in for the Children Safety Center for Child Abuse Awareness Month. Students wrote a grant for Global Youth Day of Service and Hershey! The goal is a year's worth of them so they can give one to each child that comes in for a forensic interview and they can take them with them.
